Necklace made in Plique-a-Jour enameling technique, sterling silver and amethyst.

Plique-a-Jour is a less well-known enameling technique but the most difficult and beautiful at the same time. The necklace is finished with Sterling Silver double hinge clasp and very secure.


The necklace is 25" long. The size of the focal point is 1 1/2".


Plique-a-Jour enameling technique often called stain glass enameling technique as it is does reminds stain glass windows, especially in old churches.


Plique-à-jour from French meant to “letting in the daylight” and defines a type of transparent enamel that has no backing.
