Lara Ginzburg Studio is honored to host workshop of  internationally acclaimed Ukrainian artist and enamellist, Oleksii Koval.

In this 3 days’ workshop you will learn Oleksii unique way of creating painterly looking texture, combining etching and enamel and how to apply his monumental techniques to the smaller size pieces more suitable to your own needs and artistic style.
Oleksii Koval graduated from two art colleges - Republican School of Art by Taras Shevchenko and National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (Ukraine). In the search of his own voice in art Oleksii travelled around the globe and studied enamel in China, India and the EU.

From 2009 Oleksii Koval worked primarily in vitreous enamel using varied materials such as silver, copper, bronze, and gems. Oleksii Koval is one of the few enamellists who worked in the large scale.

Oleksii Koval has exhibited extensively in Ukraine as well as in Italy, Nepal, Usbekistan, Canada (Toronto), USA (Chicago, Cleveland), Turkey and other countries.

Oleksii does speak and understand English but for more relax atmosphere I will interpret during the workshop and as needed afterwords.
