Necklace made in Plique-a-Jour enameling technique and sterling silver. Plique-a-Jour is a less well-known enameling technique but the most difficult and beautiful at the same time.
This technique often called stain glass enameling technique as it is does remind stain glass windows, especially in old churches.
The turtle size is 1 1/2" x 1". Overall length of the necklace is 20".
Plique-à-jour from French meant to “letting in the daylight” and defines a type of transparent enamel that has no backing.
